We LOVE iPads in Elementary @dancallahan @pgroom209

If school has iPad lab:
  • Have teachers take iPads home at night to explore apps- puts ownership back to teachers- let teachers pick own apps
  • Don't always give each student an iPad- have 2 students work in teams so they can collaborate

Sharing Files
  • Dropbox
  • Google Sharing

Syncing
  • Caspar Suite (not great for file mgt.)
  • Lion Share

Most Of these apps cost money--$1 to $5
